How does Distance Healing Work?

Here is an answer I gave to a client who wanted to better understand how an energy healing can work even over great distances:

There is no time and space in ultimate reality.  We here on earth are in the maya or the illusion or veil.  In our world, time is stretched out into a timeline where we have time and space to exist in physical form. But behind the veil there is a spirit realm and in that realm there is no time nor space.  So I can heal you immediately across what we in our earth bodies consider thousands of miles away and you feel the effects immediately. From my spiritual/clairvoyant perspective, our energy bodies are right next to each other even though our physical bodies are miles away. I can see you as I am moving out energy, cutting cords, balancing chakras, etc, and you are in that moment experiencing a healing.

I have both domestic and international clients who receive distance energy healing from me. The distance energy healing is just as effective as if we were in the same room. The images and the information is the same quality as in-office healing.  For most of my clients we do the healings on the phone. Often clients may want to start off with a Skype or Facetime session, but after a while it becomes clear to “see” each other with our physical eyes doesn’t necessarily improve the healing and we often switch to phone.

I hope you will consider giving  distance energy healing a try.

Who is Father Christmas?

moon-santa

Did you know there was a difference between Father Christmas and Santa Claus? Their tale emanates from different time periods and regions of the world. The tale of Santa Claus came down from the old story of Saint Nicholas, a Greek Bishop in Myra (now Turkey) in the 3rd Century AD who had a kindness for children and brought them gifts.

Earliest stories of Father Christmas came from ancient British mid-winter festivals during the Middle Ages. Wearing a green cloak and a wreath of holly, ivy or mistletoe, he was considered a harbinger of spring and a sign of good things to come.

Later, in Britain, Father Christmas was also known as King Frost or King Winter. Dressing up like King Frost, a man would be welcomed for a visit into homes and given food in the hopes of a mild winter. Through these customs, Father Christmas became associated with receiving good things.

Over time Father Christmas became associated with the Norse mythological father figure of Odin, (Thor’s father) who would visit the earth during the Yuletide between December 20th and 31st. Odin grew portly, had vastly accelerated travel times, and knew who had been naughty or nice.

In Europe these earlier tales later were blended in with the story of Saint Nicholas, bringing in the association of gifts for children. In the 1600’s the Puritans in England sought to ban Father Christmas and the customs surrounding him were suppressed until the 1800’s Victorian’s revival of the “Spirit of Christmas”.

In America the merger of Father Christmas and Santa Claus became even more complete with the 1822 poem “The Night Before Christmas”, cementing for the coming generations the legend of “Old Saint Nick”.

The Difference Between a Ghost and a Spirit Guide

All Hallow’s Eve is almost here with all it’s related spookiness. Have you ever wondered what is the difference between a ghost, a spirit guide or an angel? Read on to find out.

What is a spirit guide?

A spirit guide is a spiritual being without a physical body who is there to assist you through your life. Spirit guides have incarnated in the past as a human and are often beings you knew previously in a lifetime. There is usually a level of deep care for you and once remembered, you will also feel a connection with the spirit guide.

How do you tell a spirit guide from a ghost or a guardian angel?

A ghost is a former being who is lost in the spirit world. They are usually unaware that they’ve passed on to the spirit world. Often they are unable to detach from places, things and even people of this world. This leads them to stick around people and places in our world and “haunt” them. Most times the lost spirit does not have clear boundaries and sometimes intervention by an experienced spirit-remover or “ghostbuster” is helpful.

Guardian angels on the other hand, normally do not incarnate as humans and usually have a higher frequency vibration than former human spirit guides. They will always have your best interests in mind. Guardian angels are also here to protect and assist us in a similar way as spirit guides.

Have you ever wondered who your spirit guides are? Do you ever wonder if the little voice in your head is yourself or something or someone else? Have you ever had a small miracle happen? These are usually clues that you are in touch with your spirit guides.

If you’d like to meet your spirit guides, schedule a Clairvoyant Reading or Energy Healing  at Energetic Therapeutics to connect with those that are joyfully assisting you through your life.

Happy Halloween!

What is a chakra? II

Chakra Series II

The last post we described the seven body chakras, the colors associated with them and their locations.  In this post we will begin to learn about the major functions of each of the chakras.

Our chakras are here to help us develop consciousness for our soul evolvement, as well as being transmitters for energy flow connecting us to the rest of the universe.

  • The first chakra is related on a body level to the adrenal glands. It is related to our survival — food, shelter, clothes, etc. We are able to release old and negative energies from our aura through our first chakra.  Our first chakra is where we connect with our parents and children.  We are also able to connect with our potent kundalini energy through this first chakra.  The vibration of the first chakra is set at personal power.
  • The second chakra is associated with the gonads of our body.  It relates to our emotions, sexuality and reproductive body.  We are able to feel our emotions and other’s emotions through this chakra.  The vibration of the second chakra is set at ownership.
  • The third chakra is associated with the pancreas. This chakra related to how we control the flow of energy through our body.  It also relates to our dream space.  We enter and exit our dreams through our third chakra.  The vibration of the third chakra is set at permission.
  • The fourth chakra is associated with the thymus.  The fourth chakra has to do with our self-affinity, love and relationship. We love and often heal others through our fourth chakra.  This heart chakra connects to the soul.  The vibration of the fourth chakra is set at affinity.

Next up: The three higher chakras!

What is a Chakra I?

The word chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel.  The chakra system is a very important energetic system of the human body.  Chakas are subtle energy centers which some describe as looking like a flower facing outward, having petals and a stem, and others describe the chakras looking more like a cone opening outward.Chakras are openings for energy to flow into and out of the aura. We are able to open and close our chakras to moderate this flow of energy. Healthy flow is important since stagnant energy flow in the chakras leads to imbalances in our system and illness. A lack of flow can distort our perceptions and bring us down. However, having chakras too far open before we are ready for the intensity of the energy psychologically and spiritually speaking, can lead to a chakra being “blown out” or damaged. A healthy and moderate opening of our chakras according to our development, clarity and maturity is essential for long term wellness.

Here is a list of the seven major chakras of the human body, their location, and the color associated with them.

These major chakras are along the midline of the body.

  • Base or First Chakra, located at the base of the spine, cone opens downward – Red
  • Sacral or Second Chakra, located below the navel – Red-Orange
  • Solar Plexus or Third Chakra, located between the navel and chest – Yellow
  • Heart or Fourth Chakra, located in the center of the chest – Green or Pink
  • Throat or Fifth Chakra, located at the front of the throat – Light Blue
  • Forehead, Third Eye or Sixth Chakra, located between the eyebrows on the forehead – Indigo
  • Crown or Seventh Chakra, located above the head, cone opens upward – White or Purple

Next we will explore specific functions of the chakras.

What is an Aura III?

Layers of the Aura

Our Energy Field, or Auric Field has seven layers.  These layers correspond to the seven body chakras, which we explore in a later article.  For now, let’s look at the seven layers of the aura.  The first layer of the aura sits closest to the body, with each subsequent layer enveloping/surrounding the previous, but distinctly separate, outward to the seventh layer, which is the layer farthest from us.

Our aura extends outward from us to about the tip of our fingers if we raise our arm horizontally.  We will initially see the seventh layer of a person, and as we interact or communicate with them, we start to see the deeper layers.   Here is a list of the layers of the aura, from first through seventh, and their general associations.

  • First layer:  associated with survival – feeling physical sensations and doing physical functions
  • Second layer:  associated with emotions – where our emotions and feelings pass through us
  • Third layer:  associated with our will – also related to our mental life and linear thinking, power and integrity
  • Fourth layer:  associated with our love – affinity for ourselves and humanity
  • Fifth layer:  associated with communication – the power of the word, listening and taking responsibility for our actions and creativity
  • Sixth layer:  associated with perception – how we see truth, our intuition, celestial love for all of life
  • Seventh layer:  associated with wisdom – this is our connection to spirit

What is an Aura II?

In the last article we learned about the aura, or the energy field around your body which can have many different colors within. Just like your body has it’s own auric field, every individual part of your body has its own aura, including your internal organs. The following list is a description of what color aura each organ may have when healthy.

  • Heart: The aura most often has a sapphire blue, and a deep blue color in the nucleus, or interior.
  • Brain: The aura will show light green, with a pale orange or white interior.
  • Liver: The liver’s aura will be red with a green interior.
  • Kidneys: The aura of the kidney is blue, with a light blue within the kidneys.
  • Stomach: A vibrant pink aura with a green interior.
  • Pancreas: The aura will show bright orange-red and a pale blue interior.
  • Intestines: This aura will also be bright orange-red.
  • Bones: A white light surrounds the bones, with the marrow radiating a red color.
  • Spleen: The spleen has an orange aura with a pale green interior.
  • Lungs: Usually the lungs show a blue aura with a deep blue interior.
  • Bloodstream: Ruby-red is the aura radiating from the bloodstream.
  • Reproductive Organs: The aura of these organs is usually red-orange.
  • Eyes: Light green mixed with light green, sometimes blue.
  • Nerves: Many colors, usually light green, sometimes pink, violet.
  • Spine: The aura is a healthy white.
  • All cells of our body will vibrate at silver, representing the divine intelligence and spark within each cell.
  • When these organs or cells are ill or unhealthy, often the aura will turn gray, or is spotted with gray.

What is an Aura?

The aura is an energy field around your body that is usually invisible to the naked eye, although the ability to see auras can be learned. It is composed of seven layers which correspond to the seven chakras. The aura is the individual expression of the universal life force, and is where your health manifest first, before the body. The aura helps us perceive what is going on around us, over and beyond our senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. We sense when someone is standing behind us, not only because we may hear or smell them, but because we are aware of a subtle response we have when others have stepped into our aura. This response may come as a slight shiver or tingle, or as a knowledge a boundary around us has been crossed.

The energies within the aura come through in a kaleidoscope of colors and hues that are vibrant and alive. We are filled with colors. People always ask me what do the colors in the aura mean? Colors within the aura can be very subjective, meaning they don’t have any specific meaning per se. In general though, some themes exists in the colors.

Here is short guide to colors within the aura:

  • Red: the energy of vitality and a very physical energy.
  • Orange: the energy of motivation, enthusiasm, and organization
  • Green: the energy of balance and harmony which is essential to healing
  • Blue: the energy of healing
  • Deep Rose – Pink: the energy of love
  • Yellow: the energy of concentration and of strong mental energy
  • Purple: the energy of peace and of letting go
  • Gold: the energy of wisdom, confidence, courage, strength, faith and strong protection
  • Silver: the energy of intelligence
  • Pure White: the energy of being uplifted and redeemed, connected to clairvoyance and advancement of soul
